Sources said that the US Deputy Secretary of State would hold meetings with Pakistan’s civilian and military leadership during the visit. At the same time, Wendy Sherman will also visit Switzerland, Uzbekistan, and India after she visits Pakistan.
To welcome the US delegation, the State Department sent a letter to the Aviation Division, asking that the US delegation not be physically searched or photographed by the US Deputy Secretary of State’s delegation.
The letter said that the State Lounge should be allotted on the arrival and departure of the US delegation, and the PCR test should also be exempted on the appearance of the US delegation.
