Thick sugar began to disappear from the shops, the city complained about the powdered imported sugar

TLDR: With the increase in the price of sugar, thick sugar has started disappearing from the shops. Fine powdered imported sugar is available in the markets at Rs. 90 to 100 per kg.

The sale of local sugar has been stopped in the retail markets of Multan and Lahore. In Lahore, local sugar is unavailable in Baghbanpura, Galla Mandi, Kahna Galla Mandi, and Akbari Galla Mandi. However, the government imported sugar is available at Rs 90 per kg at certain shops.

The rate of refined sugar in the wholesale market in Multan is Rs. 90 per kg, and the rate of coarse sugar in the wholesale market is Rs. 125 to 130 per kg.

In Quetta, the price of one kg of sugar has gone up by Rs 47 in four days; after an increase of Rs 5 per kg, it has gone up to Rs 160.

Sugar is also available at Rs 150 per kg in Hyderabad; sugar is sold at Rs 148 to Rs 150 per kg in retail, while sugar is sold at Rs 150 per kg in retail in Mirpur Azad Kashmir.

In the last few days, the problems of the citizens have increased in the entire Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, including Peshawar. This is because the price of sugar has reached Rs 150 per kg.
