Incidents of such negligence are common in developing countries but have you ever thought that such an incident could happen in a developed country like the UK? Of course not, but it has happened in the UK. ۔
According to British media reports, the Virgin Atlantic Airlines flight from the United Kingdom to the United States was taken away by an untrained pilot. Additionally, during a Virgin Atlantic flight from London’s Heathrow Airport to New York, it was revealed that the co-pilot was untrained.
According to the report, the co-pilot told the captain that he had not yet completed his flying test. The flight was diverted back to Heathrow Airport 40 minutes after takeoff after being alerted by a co-pilot, with 300 passengers on board.
An airline spokesman apologized to the passengers, calling the mistake a “rostering error,” and said: “We apologize to the passengers for the flight delays.”
The airline said that “the qualified first officer, who was flying with an experienced captain, has been replaced by a new pilot to ensure full compliance with the Virgin Atlantic training protocol.”
