After completing a specific operations risk assessment and receiving a special flying permit from the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA), the X-Ping X2 has flown its first public flight.

The maiden flight was witnessed by over 150 people, including representatives from the Chinese Consulate in Dubai, the Dubai International Chamber of Commerce, DCAA, the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, the Dubai World Trade Center, and international media.

The first flight followed a keynote introduction to X2 and the future of mobility by X-Ping Vice Chairman and President Brian Goh on the opening day of GITEX at the Dubai World Trade Center.

The public flight took place at Skydive Dubai, offering excellent airspace conditions and panoramic views of the cityscape.

The first public flight of the X-Ping X2 was supported by the Dubai International Chamber of Commerce. The Dubai Chamber has been deeply involved in the entire process since the project’s inception, providing X-Ping with strategic advice.

Acting President and CEO Hassan Al Hashemi also attended the event and in his speech said that the first global public flight of the X-Two Flying Car will change the future mobility landscape.

This car has a seating capacity of 2 people. On its first flight in Dubai, this car stayed in the air for 90 minutes. This flying car has been declared an important foundation for the next generation.

The general manager of the company Min Juan Zhu said on this occasion that we are gradually moving towards the global market. For this purpose, we first chose Dubai because Dubai is the most modern city in the world.
