According to Russian media, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Monday that Russia would attend the swearing-in ceremony of the Afghan government and support the Taliban government, but only if all factions were formed together.

Today, the Taliban claimed to have captured the Panjshir Valley north of Kabul. A spokesman claimed that some insurgents were killed, and all others escaped. Afghan Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said that the Afghan Taliban had conquered the Panjshir Valley. So yes, the war is over after the occupation of the area.
