According to international media, Rolls-Royce has claimed to have developed the world’s fastest electric aircraft; a statement issued by Rolls-Royce has named this aircraft as the spirit of innovation.
The company says that the aircraft managed to fly at a speed of 387.4 miles per hour, and it is the fastest electric ride in the world.
According to the company, during the test flight on November 16, the aircraft set a total of three records, covering a distance of 1.86 miles at a speed of 345.4 miles per hour.
At a speed of more than 300 miles per hour, the plane traveled 9.32 miles at the British Ministry of Defense’s military testing site, 182 miles per hour higher than the previous record.
The data has been submitted to the International Governing Body Federation Aeronautical International (FIA) for verification.
The aircraft flies with the help of a 400 kW electric power train, while the best power battery pack has also been used for it.
Rolls-Royce’s director of flight operations flew the plane on a test flight, saying it was the most critical moment of his career.
Warren East, CEO of the company, said that the world’s fastest electric aircraft record is an outstanding achievement.
“This aircraft is capable of electric flight and will help unlock technologies that we can incorporate into everyday life,” said Quasi Quarting, the UK’s business secretary.
