After a heartfelt tweet of Zimbabwe cricketer Ryan Burl, PUMA Cricket reached out to the cricketer and announced to become a sponsor. The cricketer announced on his official Twitter account, and PUMA cricket’s official Twitter handle later confirmed the sponsorship with a retweet.
Later, Ryan Burl, who plays for the Zimbabwe Cricket team, tweeted a picture of his ripped shoes being glued after playing a series. The player tweeted asking if they can get a sponsor because he’s tired of fixing his shoe again and again after every series.

The tweet rattled and saddened the cricket fans, and after going viral, PUMA announced that they will be sponsoring the cricketer from now onwards.
