According to details, Prime Minister Imran Khan will pay a two-day visit to Tajikistan from tomorrow. A statement from the Foreign Office said that the Prime Minister would visit Tajikistan on September 16 and 17 at the invitation of the President.
During the visit, the Prime Minister will attend the 20th SCO Summit and hold bilateral meetings with other co-leaders while inaugurating the first meeting of the Pakistan-Tajikistan Business Forum, the spokesman said.
The Foreign Office added that a group of Pakistani businessmen would also visit Dushanbe for the business forum, accompanied by a delegation of ministers and Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Last month, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi met with Tajik President Emomali Rakhmon, in which he conveyed a message of good wishes from Tajik Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Reiterating his commitment to strengthening relations with Tajikistan further, Qureshi said that Pakistan and Tajikistan have historical ties, and the two countries are committed to further expanding and strengthening bilateral relations.
