The delegation visited Pakistan at the invitation of the Government of Pakistan. The delegation met top political and military leaders, including the Prime Minister, Foreign Minister, Army Chief, and Director General (DG) ISI Lieutenant.

Addressing a press conference and other members of the delegation, former Vice President Muhammad Younis Qanuni lauded the positive role of the Government of Pakistan in Afghanistan. However, they said that a comprehensive political solution was needed for peace in Afghanistan.

The Afghan leaders said that change was taking place in Pakistan under the ideology of New Pakistan and the Pakistani leadership wanted a strong bilateral relationship with Afghanistan, leaving the past behind.

Members of the Afghan delegation told the media that they met with the Pakistani leadership to discuss representing all ethnic groups in the new Afghan government during their visit to Pakistan. Its purpose is to stop the bloodshed in Afghanistan.

The delegation thanked the Pakistani leadership for its assurance of a peaceful Afghanistan. The entire leadership shared the same views on Afghanistan and wanted to usher in a new era of relations with the neighboring country. Is.

In response to a question, Younis Qanuni said that the Taliban could seize land but not the people unless they form a comprehensive government that includes all people and fulfills its promises to protect all communities, including minorities. ۔

Regarding Ashraf Ghani’s escape from Afghanistan and the alleged taking of large sums of money by him, the delegation said that corruption had become commonplace in Afghanistan and could not be eradicated unless all groups in the country were involved. A comprehensive political system is not formed.

The delegation members told the media that Afghanistan shares a long border with Pakistan as Pakistan is an important country in the region. Hence, they started their visit from Pakistan, and they accompanied large delegations to support their demand. We will also visit other countries.
