According to a foreign news agency report, a passenger bus crashed in the Bulgarian capital Sofia while coming from Macedonia, in which a fire engulfed the entire bus.
At least 45 people, including 12 children, were killed in the accident. Seven injured people were shifted to the hospital for medical treatment.


Authorities say several people are in critical condition after the blaze, and the death toll could rise.
In Bulgaria, nine people were killed in a fire in the village of Roya.
The fire broke out in the nursing home of the elderly, where the fire that broke out in the wooden roof spread as soon as they saw it. Fifty-eight older adults were living in the nursing home who were evacuated safely.


The cause of the fire in the nursing home was not immediately known, but an investigation was launched.
