According to the announcement, the visiting team will arrive in Islamabad on September 11 to participate in a series consisting of 3 ODIs and 5 T20 Internationals.
The decision said that a total of 4,500 spectators would be allowed to enter the stadium for the three scheduled one-day international matches at the Pindi Cricket Stadium. In comparison, a total of 5,500 vaccinated spectators would be allowed to enter the stadium for the scheduled five T20 International matches at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
The three ODIs of the series will be played on September 17, 19, and 21, while the five T20 Internationals will be played on September 25, 26, and 29, October 1 and 3.
In this regard, PCB Chief Executive Wasim Khan said that spectators are considered a real asset of any sporting event. Therefore, even a limited number of them will add four months to the stadium arrival event.
