Dubai: The ICC has released a new Test ranking after the end of the Test series between Pakistan and the West Indies in Kingston.

According to the details, the ICC has released a new Test ranking; Shaheen Shah Afridi, who took 18 wickets in the Test series, reached the career-best ranking. Shaheen Shah Afridi jumped to the eighth position on the bowlers’ list.

Babar Azam is seventh after a one-point improvement, and Fawad Alam is 21st. Fast bowlers Hassan Ali and Mohammad Abbas have dropped in the rankings.

According to the ICC rankings, Fawad Alam has also moved 34 places from 55th to 21st position. National team captain Babar Azam improved from one place to seventh.

In addition, Azhar Ali, Abid Ali Hassan Ali, Muhammad Abbas, and Faheem Ashraf have dropped in the new Test rankings.

Twenty-one-year-old Shaheen Shah Afridi showed great feats at a young age; Shaheen took ten wickets in eight-second in the first Test, with eighteen wickets, he was also the best player of the series.

The series against West Indies proved to be a record-breaking one for Shaheen Afridi. Shaheen became the second Pakistani bowler to take the most wickets in the two-Test series and became the second Pakistani bowler to take more Test wickets at 21.

He also surpassed Sultan Wasim Akram of Swing, a young fast bowler who has taken 161 wickets in the first three years of his career.
