According to the details, a meeting was held in the Ministry of Aviation under the chairmanship of Federal Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique in which Civil Aviation Authority, ASF, and PIA officials participated.
In the meeting, it was directed to create a 5-year development plan for ASF, while modern facilities and security issues for passengers at the airport were taken into consideration.
In the meeting, decisions were taken regarding the upgradation of Isfahani Hangar Karachi from various airlines of PIA. It was directed to speed up the work on the branding of PIA and provide facilities during the journey.
The federal minister also directed to provide of the facility of mobile charging points in the planes. It was decided to modernize PIA’s Karachi, Lahore, and Peshawar Planetariums.
The federal minister assured to solve the problems of pilots on a priority basis. PIA management will inform all employees about the new schemes.
