According to the notification issued in this regard, the markets in Karachi will be kept closed only on Sundays. The markets will be allowed to open till 10 pm on six days of the week.

According to the notification, the Sindh government has also opened indoor dining. Indoor dining will be allowed till 12 noon.

Apart from this, other events, including indoor weddings, have also been allowed. Therefore, 200 people will be allowed to participate in other events, including indoor weddings, while 400 people will participate in other events, including open-air weddings.

Teams will visit markets, shopping malls, shops to inspect SOPs; the requirement to work from home has also been abolished, and now 100 percent of staff will be able to work in offices.

50% of passengers will be allowed to travel in public transport and 70% in trains.

It may be recalled that according to the Corona Statistics website (covid.gov.pk), in Pakistan, 56,733 corona tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, out of which 2,714 people were confirmed to be infected with the coronavirus. Another 73 people died.

According to the official portal, the rate of positive corona cases in the country during the last 24 hours was 4.78%.
