WhatsApp announced in November last year that it would soon introduce a feature called Message Reaction for some users. It was introduced to a limited number of users in January.
However, in early April last month, the WhatsApp administration said that work was underway to improve the feature further and add additional reactions and that the quality would be released soon.
And now, WhatsApp has introduced the said feature so far. But unfortunately, this feature has not appeared on WhatsApp in many countries, including Pakistan, but soon Pakistani users will also be able to use this feature.
Mark Zuckerberg, head of the company that owns WhatsApp, Meta, confirmed in a brief Facebook post on May 5 that the message reaction feature on WhatsApp was introduced today.
He added in a comment to the post that WhatsApp experts are working on further improving the feature and will add additional reactions.
This feature will work like how users express their opinions on Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger messages via emojis.
After introducing the feature, every user will see signs of emojis while viewing the message, and they will be able to express their opinion with the emoji of their choice.
