Occupying Indian Army takes Ali Gilani’s body into custody, buries him at unknown location

TLDR: Abdullah Gilani, special envoy of senior Kashmiri leader Syed Ali Gilani, who visited Khaliq Haqiqi yesterday after a long illness, said he did not know where Indian forces had buried Ali Gilani.

In a video statement, Abdullah Gilani said that the Indian Army had seized the body of Syed Ali Gilani, and we do not know where Syed Ali Gilani was buried.

Abdullah Gilani said that Syed Ali Gilani’s family was also tortured. The family demanded that Syed Ali Gilani be buried at the Martyrs’ Shrine as per his wish.

On the other hand, the family of Syed Ali Gilani says that the occupying Indian forces have closed the whole of Jammu and Kashmir, curfew has been imposed in the valley, and communication has also been suspended.

It may be recalled that Indian media claimed that under the tight security of Indian forces, freedom fighter Syed Ali Gilani was buried in Haiderpura cemetery at 4.30 am, only a few close people were allowed to attend the funeral prayers and burial.

Prime Minister Imran Khan, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, political and social figures, and Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Abdul Qayyum Niazi expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of the senior Kashmiri freedom fighter and appreciated his invaluable services to the Kashmir Independence Movement.
