Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Arthritis Center, renowned rheumatologist Professor Dr. Saleha Ishaq of Pakistan said that the complaints of joint and muscle pain have increased enormously among people who have recovered during the Corona epidemic and many patients have died. Dr. Saleha, who is also the managing director of the Pakistani American Arthritis Center, said that rheumatology is a relatively new specialty with a very small number of specialists, but now after the establishment of the Pakistani American Arthritis Center in Karachi, other cities of Sindh including Karachi In Balochistan and South Punjab, people can get treatment from trained specialists.
Babar Saeed Khan, Chief Executive Officer of Ehed Medical Center Karachi, said that people suffering from joint and muscle pain suffer for years because their diseases are often not properly diagnosed and such patients use painkillers for years. They also suffer from kidney and liver diseases.
