Imran Khan challenges Election Commission’s decision in Islamabad High Court

TLDR:Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has challenged the decision of the Election Commission, in which it has been requested to declare the punishment of the Election Commission null and void.

According to the details, the decision of the Election Commission was challenged by former minister Imran Khan in the Islamabad High Court. Barrister Ali Zafar applied on behalf of Imran Khan, in the application, the Election Commission has been requested to declare the decision null and void and to hear the application today. Several objections were raised by the Registrar’s Office on Imran Khan’s request. The Registrar’s Office said that the certified copy of Imran Khan’s disqualification decision was not attached to the application and Imran Khan did not get biometric verification. Yesterday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan announced going to court against the decision of his disqualification in the Tosha Khana case. After the verdict of the Tosha Khana case, Imran Khan said in a video that the Election Commissioner took a biased decision by being part of a conspiracy and mafia. The entire nation came out on the streets today against the personal decision. That I will be disqualified.
