According to the details, the Pakistan stock market witnessed a negative investment trend during the last business week.
Between August 23 and 27, 2021, the 100 Index decreased by 463 points, and the Index closed at 47,136 points, down 1%. During the whole week, the highest level of 100 indexes was 48,146, while the lowest level was 46,871.
1.92 billion shares were traded in the last business week, with a turnover of over Rs. 65 billion. Market capitalization fell by Rs 60 billion to Rs 8,250 billion during the week.
The value of the dollar
Last week, the dollar rose by Rs 1.44 on the interbank market, reaching Rs 165.62 at the end of the week. The dollar had a weekly high of Rs 166.28 and a low of Rs 164.42.
