According to details, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department released its annual report on dengue, which said that relatively few people were affected due to timely measures and efforts.
The report said that no active case of dengue had been reported in the province so far.
In its report, the health department said that more than 10,000 people fell victim to dengue this year, with Peshawar, Nowshera, Haripur, and Swabi being high-risk districts.
The highest number of 5,700 cases was reported in Peshawar, while no dengue was reported from Upper Chitral, Upper Kohistan, and North Waziristan.
According to the report, only ten people have died of dengue, 98% of dengue patients are being treated in government hospitals and have recovered.
