Former president Mamnoon Hussain dies of cancer in Karachi. He was 88 years old. The news was confirmed by his son, Arsalan Manoon, according to GEO News. Hussain was suffering from cancer and has been hospitalized and was undergoing treatment at a private hospital for the last two weeks.
Hussain was the 12th president of Pakistan, who served from 2013 to 2018 during the tenure of the PML-N. He was one of the most senior PML-N leaders. President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi, and Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, have offered his condolence to the family.
