A statement from the authority said that Facebook had bought a company called Goofy.

According to the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), the investigation found that Facebook deliberately violated the order in a cycle of profit and greed.

The CMA said the purpose of imposing fines on Facebook was to warn and make clear the message that no company is above the law.

The regulator said that Facebook had not provided the necessary information regarding the acquisition of Goofy, despite repeated warnings to do so. Was fined لاکھ 500,000 for changing twice.

The statement said that the CMA contacted Facebook several times to clarify the matter. The organizers did not provide any information, even after the defeat in two court cases. Violated the crime.

Joel Bamford, senior director of CMA’s merger division, said it was a warning to any company that believed it was above the law.

Facebook, on the other hand, said it would reconsider the decision and consider its options. According to the report, the authority had launched an investigation into the acquisition of the GIF sharing platform in June last year.
