Election Commission removes the spokesperson from office for giving a controversial statement

TLDR: The spokesperson of the Election Commission was removed from the post due to the controversial response of the Election Commission regarding the dissolution of the assemblies.

According to the sources, the Chief Election Commissioner took notice of the statement and issued immediate orders, and removed the spokesperson of the Election Commission from the post.

Election Commission spokesperson Haroon Shinwari has been instructed to report to the establishment wing. The Chief Election Commissioner had expressed his displeasure over the controversial response.

The spokesperson of the Election Commission had given a statement to hold by-elections on the dissolution of the assemblies. The spokesperson had issued the statement without the approval of the Election Commission.

It should be noted that Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan has announced to come out of the assemblies, on which the party has confirmed the dissolution of the Punjab and KP assemblies.

Yesterday, PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry said that the meeting has approved the dissolution of the Punjab and KP Assembly, and our members from Sindh and Balochistan will submit their resignations.
