These days, the heat is reaching its peak. The temperature in many cities of the country has exceeded 40 degrees Celsius, and the Meteorological Department has also issued a warning of extreme heat and heatwave this week.

Onion without which we can’t imagine any food. Onions are also eaten raw. It is delicious and healthy food in the form of salad along with other vegetables.

Older adults have always been advised to keep onions with them when going out of the house to avoid heat. Onions have a remarkable ability to absorb heat. When the onion is exposed to the sun, it blocks the heat from coming out before harming the body. Onions contain iron, antioxidants, essential vitamins, and much more. It is also rich in vitamins C and B, including folate. To keep your body cool this summer, you must carry onions to avoid possible heatstroke.

Onions contain volatile substances that help maintain a balanced body temperature. So don’t just keep onions together but make them an integral part of your diet. Onions can be used in many ways in summer; besides being eaten raw, it is also used to make sauces with mango or other fruits. In addition, you can squeeze a little lemon on raw onion to enhance the taste and increase the amount of vitamin C.
