Lahore Qalandars Cricket Director Aqib Javed told Geo News that if the team for the T20 World Cup has been announced now, back it up, I don’t think the squad will change and shouldn’t; if this is the case, we will be ridiculed in the world. So don’t make selection decisions on a seven-day form; first, think about who is performing consistently.

“We have not had a selection process for two or three years and that is why the team has arrived here. The team was not as bad as it has been made. The players have been dropped two or three times and brought back,” he said. Due to which they do not have confidence.

The former cricketer said that Pakistan’s first match is against India; if not emotional about this match, then this team can do something in the T20 World Cup.

Aqib Javed said that the board should give confidence to the players, the board should send a clear message that there is no change in this team, it is to back it up, this message of the board should reach the players and the people to give the notice. It will make us think that this is our team, and we have to back it up.
