According to international media reports, Australia has taken essential steps to boost the economy affected by the lockdown and resume international travel to prevent the spread of Covid 19.
Initially, the government reopened the border for skilled immigrants and international students. However, their entry was banned for two years, and now only fully vaccinated people will be allowed to enter.
“We are going to live with this virus and we will not allow it to take us back to where we were,” Prime Minister Scott Morrison told radio station 4BC on Wednesday about the reopening of the border.
“We have the highest vaccination rate, which means we can fight it. We don’t have to give up,” he said.
