According to details, Oscar-winning actress Angelina Jolie has resigned from her job as the Special Representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees after more than twenty years.
According to the foreign news agency report, she will continue her struggle for the rights of the refugees. She wishes to work with different parties and on broader humanitarian issues.
In a continuing statement, she said that after 20 years of working with the United Nations, she wants to continue to do what she can to help refugees and other displaced people in the years to come.
In the statement above, the head of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Filippo Grandi, thanked Angelina Jolie for her services and assured her of his support for her new ambitions.
