In the Indian city of Mumbai, it became expensive for a woman to order sweets online.
A woman named Pooja thought to order sweets through the app on the occasion of Diwali and her transaction of Rs 1,000 failed.
However, the woman called the same sweet shop and ordered sweets, but when it was time to pay, the person at the shop asked for the number.
The person asked them to share the credit card number and the OTP received over the phone.
Pooja then shared the card details and OTP and within minutes Rs 2,40,310 was deducted from her account.
However, after receiving the message of the transaction, the woman filed a complaint at the police station, after which the police started an investigation.
